WebGL Lamborghini

After playing around with and creating my car model for the new Molehill version of the Flash Player, I was intrigued to see how well the same demo would run on webGL. For those that down't know WebGL is a great API developed by Khronos which enables direct access to the GPU and allows you to render fantastic 3D graphics within the browser - no need for plugins. For this example I used a 3D library written in Javascript called Three.js which takes care of all of the heavy lifting including setting up the 3D world and also rendering via a webGL renderer and also a method to fall back to a canvas renderer if webGL is not available on the users browser. The whole process again was documented on my blog.
