Well I took my Adobe Certified Associate exam yesterday, its only an entry level exam but hey its a start. The exam was pretty easy although after I first started to get a bit cocky and started to think “man this is easy!” I was suddenly stopped dead in my tracks by questions about design theory and the like that kind of got me a little stumped and all my cockyness went straight out of the window. Any way, I finished the exam in a little over 20 minutes and thankfully scored 92.5%, better than I thought I would and so now after 6 months of study I am officially Adobe certified, next step the Expert exam……..!

Hi,
Congrats!
I am thinking about taken the exam for Flash. Is this certificate more general, or does it follow one application?
I too am concerned about the design aspects, as I am a asctionscript dude`-`
Thanks for posting, and great blog!

Hi Johnny, thanks for the comment, the ACE I took was the Rich Media Communication exam based on flash, to be honest it was pretty basic and mainly went into the use of Flash CS3 and the user interface as well as checking your understanding of basic design principles as well as accessibility etc you can get more info from the adobe website I don’t think any actionscript was involved, but the ACE I am currently studying for is a different matter!
